SPORTS

BOCCE BALL LEAGUES
Watch your spring newsletter for days and times.

The Sport Committee manages 3 Bocce Ball Leagues each summer season - the Men's League, the Women's League and the Couple's League. The Bocce Ball Courts are on the clubhouse grounds by the large north pond.

Once you are on a league, you meet each week at an appointed time, leading up to the finals. It is all in fun and there is even an award ceremony at the end of the season in the fall.

PICKLE BALL
Schedule:
Ladies play on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8:30am
Men play on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays at 9:30am

Pickle Ball takes place on the tennis courts throughout the spring and summer months. The court has a special marking closer to the net than a tennis game requires. Pickle Ball uses whiffle balls and paddles suited to the game. It is not as strenuous as Tennis, but it sure is fun. Open to all residents; new players are welcome.

Sandra Lulay is the contact for the ladies group.
Jack Wiesemes is the contact for the men's group.

MEN'S GOLF
Men's Golf typically meets every Thursday.  Courses vary during the season.  Contact resident Jerry Slou for information.

Senior Games
The Sports Activity Group set up a Triathlon event every summer for playoffs of the following three sports:
Bocce Ball
Bean Bags
Mini Bags

All residents are invited to sign up for these activities. Even if you do not play, it is great fun to view these sports playoffs from the picnic tables nearby. Announcements for all activities are made well in advance.

WII BOWLING
The Wii Bowling League meets on Monday afternoons. There are two sessions - one in the fall and the other in the winter.

BEAN BAGS
The Sports Commission creates leagues for Bean bags. The leagues begin in late summer.
